Preparing the resurfacing processes
To begin the driveway resurfacing process, we will first prepare the surface by grinding off any defects. This requires a special tool that grinds away the existing asphalt to make way for the new one. In some cases, this might mean removing concrete as well as asphalt. Once this has been carried out, we apply an adhesive that helps bind with the top layer of asphalt being laid down next. The old asphalt is then removed, and finally, new 2-3mm thick layers are laid down on top with a roller machine, so it is flat and level with no bumps.
